The “Suggested Daily Amount” is just that; suggested. Like a child, a growing puppy will have a larger appetite on some days and not so much on others. I suggest to put 25% more kibble in his bowl than the suggestion. Most Poodles don't over eat and I've never known a pup to over eat so you may choose to free feed or schedule. If you choose to schedule divide the daily amount and feed into 3-4 meals a day. If you are going to free feed measure the entire daily amount into a dish and allow your puppy to eat as he wishes over the course of a 24 hour period. If you see that your dog tends to over eat as an adult you will need to schedule and measure his leas carefully.
